Trustee Election 2011

The Kamloops/Thompson Board of Education is comprised of nine trustees.  Five trustees represent the City of Kamloops and one trustee represents each of the four rural areas being Electoral Areas “A” and “B” of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) - North Thompson; Electoral Area “O” of the TNRD – Barriere/Little Fort; Electoral Area “L” and “P” of the TNRD – Chase; and, Electoral Area “J” of the TNRD – Logan Lake.

Notice of Election
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to the electors of the Electoral Areas “J” (Logan Lake) and “0“ (Barriere/Little Fort) of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District that an Election by Voting is necessary to elect a School Trustee to fill School Trustee offices of School District No. 73 (Kamloops/Thompson).

Nomination packages for the five city seats are available by contacting the City of Kamloops:

General Voting Day is November 19, 2011, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  To vote, present two pieces of ID, one with your signature and one with your address, to the registration clerk.
