Distributed Learning

The Kamloops/Thompson School District operates a comprehensive distributed learning program at @KOOL.  Distributed learning takes place outside of the traditional school classroom when a learner is primarily at a distance from the educator and school. Students often choose distributed learning because they are living in a remote community, because a particular course is not available to them or because of a learning preference.

Distributed learning is primarily offered online using a variety of software tools such as Moodle and WebCT to allow students to access the curriculum and to interact with teachers.

More information on distributed learning in the Kamloops/Thompson School District, including registration procedures, can be found at the @KOOL website.
